But this sort of blatant cheating by the AI honestly sucks all the fun and enjoyment out of the game for me. ![]() I guess I could reload an autosave from 2-3 turns ago and go a different way. I remember nobody liked this stupid mechanic in AoW3, why would they use it again here? Afterwards, I used the reveal map cheat just to have a look at his land, and he literally had 10 - 12 army stacks all over his territory, with only 3 or 4 cities. Normally it would have been recoverable, except that losing Vrascal the seer means instant game over. ![]() So I'm running around trying to complete the 50 quests that are being thrown at me, with 2-3 stacks which are all I can afford, when the assembly dude suddenly bursts out of the fog of war with 4 full stacks all going straight for my hero. You can make peace with the Growth, but only after a lengthy quest, and it's even worse if you don't know about it in advance. First of all, you're at war with the Growth as soon as the mission starts, and at war with the Assembly soon after. I honestly don't know what reasoning they used to mark the first mission's difficulty as 3/5 stars. ![]()
